It all began during lockdown when Louisa rehoused Patch, a scruffy terrier, and set out to find the perfect stripe to make him a throne worthy of his new Hackney life. The search proved more challenging than expected, sparking the idea for a brand dedicated to helping others bring their personal stories to life through bespoke stripes.

Colours of Arley now offers bespoke stripes for curtains, headboards, upholstery, and accessories, each created from a carefully developed palette of 120 colours. Thoughtfully built over time, the collection reflects Louisa’s background in photography and her instinct for tone, balance, and storytelling. Every stripe is a considered composition of colour, allowing every stripe to tell its own distinctive story.
