Manufactured in our family workshop in a small Cheshire village where everything is produced to order, meaning there’s no waste. We don’t know which stripes people are going to choose, so even the samples are all produced to order. We want to create a simple, timeless fabric that is designed and made to reflect you and your space, something that goes beyond trends and that can be enjoyed and admired for years to come.

"Over the last few years, my friends and I have been decorating our own flats, studios and small business spaces, I saw the yearning of these young(ish) creatives, who were looking for something bespoke, something unique. I commissioned my own bespoke stripe through a family manufacturing business and I was so pleased with the result I thought “I need to offer this service to my friends. That’s how Colours of Arley was born."

Our East London store has a colour wall with all 180 colours, a stripey seating area, lots of striped pieces including; lampshades, vintage furniture and cushions. We also have a library of archive and rare interiors books to inspire your own interior stripe.
